Week 25 Theme - "Wedding Bells"

This week's challenge over at I Heart Faces is "Wedding Bells". There are some fantastice entries and I encourage you to go check some of the photo's out if you have a chance!
I had such a hard time choosing, not that I have been to many weddings, maybe two in my lifetime, but the one that stands out was my sister-in-laws wedding in November 2005.

My little guy was only three and a half at the time, (where has the time gone?), and was completely smitten with himself in his posh little bow-tie suit and fancy shoes. He loves to dress up and if that little get-up didn't bring out the character in him, then I don't know what did! He was a little ham for the camera all day, but this particular photo made me giggle (and still does). He thought the pretty little girl was such a princess, and was all fine with standing next to her, even holding her basket, but the minute we asked him to hold her hand, he lost it...giggles and shyness set in and...well, this is what we got...I happen to love it!

Here are a couple of other pics from that day:

Week 23 Kids Category: “Sepia Toned”

The theme for this week at I heart faces is 'Sepia Toned'. I have never really tuned in to this element of colour before, so was a little lost as to what type of picture works best. Also, given that we are now two days behind schedule for moving out of our house and getting to DC by the 23rd June, I ended up just grabbing a photo taken last week, and switching it to sepia. I actually really like how it turned out. I initially added a black vignette, but took it away on the advice of my seven year old :)
Anyway, got to run, we have GOT to get on the road today!

There are some amazing photos to browse through, so if you have a few spare moments head on over to I heart faces, and check out all of the fab entries!

I heart faces - Silhoettes

So, I have about five mins to post this 'Silhouette' photo to the I heart Faces contest.
It was taken last August when we arrived in Telluride, Colorado. After 10 days on the road, we did one final long drive up the Imogene Pass.
My hubbie was so excited, he was doing hand-stands!

I heart faces - Blurb Photo Book Contest - Entries - Amateurs/Beginners Category

After missing out in recent weeks on some great categories over on I heart faces, I am finally back again!
To choose a 'favorite' face photo was near impossible for me, it was just too hard! So, after creating a file of about 60 or so recent fave's, I closed my eyes, scrolled down and clicked! This photo of our little girl was the one that my mouse chose!
The photo was taken about a month ago on a visit home to Florida, and is a perfect portrayal of our little Wee~Wee - a little wild, free-spirited and a beach girl like no other!

"I am submitting this photo into the www.iheartfaces.com Blurb Book photo contest. I am granting I ♥ Faces permission to use my photo in a printed version of a book for commercial use and possibly advertising of a photo book on both the Blurb and I ♥ Faces web sites."

Happy Birthday Aunty Margaret!

Tomorrow will be my Aunty Margaret's birthday. This photo of my Nana and Aunty Margaret was taken in the summer of '07. A few weeks later my Nana passed on. I think of her and miss her everyday, and I know Aunty Margaret does too.
Have a wonderful Birthday Aunty Margaret!
